Elsa trained in Stockholm before spending six years working across London's most respected salons. She opened Lys in 2019 with one idea: slow down, do less, do it better.
Her speciality is Nordic colour, the kind that still looks right at week twelve and even better at week twenty-four. She works almost exclusively with natural pigments and avoids aggressive lifting wherever she can.

Tom spent five years as a session stylist before joining Lys. He thinks about hair the way an architect thinks about a building: structure first, then how the light moves through it.
He's particularly in demand for textured cuts, men's styling, and anyone who's been told their hair is "difficult." His consultation sessions have a waiting list.

Maja joined Lys from a colour-focused atelier in Copenhagen. She is quietly exceptional at colour correction, the work that other salons hand back. She doesn't panic, and she doesn't rush.
Her balayage is soft, graduated, and built to age well. She also offers regular toning and glossing appointments for clients who want to maintain their colour between full sessions.

Nico brings a relaxed confidence to every appointment. Trained in Milan and now firmly rooted in London, he has a particular talent for cuts that work with the natural movement of the hair rather than against it.
He's known for being honest. He'll tell you what will and won't work, and why. Clients come back for that as much as the cut itself.

Freja trained in Stockholm before relocating to London three years ago. Her approach is unhurried and observant. She spends the first part of every appointment just looking and listening before she picks up the scissors.
She works especially well with curly and wavy hair, and has a loyal following among clients who've struggled to find someone who truly understands their texture.

Kai joined Lys as our apprentice stylist and is working through his training under Elsa and Tom. He's quick, attentive, and already has a sharp eye for detail that takes most stylists years to develop.
Kai is available for blow dry appointments, wash and finish, and complimentary consultations. If you'd like to support him as he builds his chair hours, ask for him by name.
